Since 2018, Gökyüzü Foundation has believed in the transformative power of art and turned this power into social impact. Through cultural support, financial aid, and disaster response, we reach more than 30,000 people annually.
With more than 500 volunteer educators, we organize free workshops ranging from history and philosophy to art and personal development. Through Akademi X, we empower young people as future leaders with the motto “discover, confront, question.”
We provide food, education, healthcare, and housing support to thousands of people each year. We offer scholarships to hundreds of university students and support families in need through both financial and in-kind assistance.
We operate as an independent and free organization. There are no dues, no membership, and no political, commercial, or religious activities. We maintain rigorous financial accountability and transparent impact reporting, ensuring you see exactly how every contribution creates a meaningful difference.

Gökyüzü is a non-governmental organization that gained its institutional identity in December 2018 and operates entirely on a voluntary and independent basis. We have no membership or dues system; our activities are funded solely through donations and the income of our social enterprise, Skytech Project. We have no organic ties to any political, religious, or commercial group. Guided by Atatürk’s principles and reforms, we prioritize social cohesion and maintain a clear stance against divisive structures.
Our Areas of Activity
Our foundation creates social impact across four main areas:
Cultural Support: With more than 500 volunteer educators, we organize free activities in history, sociology, psychology, philosophy, personal development, handicrafts, visual arts, and spiritual practices. Through Akademi X, we support young people aged 18–30 in developing social responsibility, critical thinking, and life purpose awareness. We provide cultural and artistic services to more than 20,000 people annually.
Economic Empowerment: We provide economic assistance to individuals and families in need, ranging from educational scholarships to food aid, healthcare support, and housing assistance. Our programs reach over 10,000 people annually, including university scholarships, winter clothing packages, food aid, assistive devices for disabled individuals, and emergency cash support.
Disaster Relief & Community Resilience: With a 300-member experienced volunteer disaster team, we carry out search and rescue, humanitarian aid, and psychosocial support activities during disasters such as fires, floods, and earthquakes. During the Hatay earthquake response, we conducted 9 weeks of field operations, distributed 10 truckloads of aid supplies, and implemented psychological support programs for children and women.
Environment and Animal Welfare: We conduct biannual mass tree-planting activities and provide sterilization, feeding, and veterinary support for stray animals.
